Get a glimpse into what you’ll get out of this workshop:
“Conversation is a core business process”
Juanita Brown, Co-creator of The World Cafe
Meaningful and effective conversations, are, at their essence, what drives the performance and development of your people, your team and your culture. The ability to have the conversations that matter is an essential skill in today’s workplace.
If conversation is a core business process, we might as well pay attention to how we’re having those conversations.
The ‘Conversations That Matter’ workshop series is designed to help your leaders and managers have more high impact, high quality conversations with people that matter. They’ll have more robust, authentic conversations that empower people, accelerate learning and drive business results.
In practical, hands-on workshops, we’ll cover everything from the essentials to the tricky bits, including:
We’ll look at:
- The impact of high quality conversations
- Key elements of conversations that matter
- Have levels of intention in conversation
- Fostering a ‘growth mindset’
- Powerful listening and questioning
- Tapping into motivation
- How to make feedback work
- The courage to ‘call it’
How it works:
Conversations That Matter can be run over one day, over two half-days, or in three two hour sessions. We work in a hands-on, small group workshop format, supported by an online curriculum, practical application, on-the-job activities, and follow up.
Follow Up Video Series
We’ll provide the participants access to our online video series. These are short videos going over the key ideas covered in the workshops. A great way to remind them of what’s been discussed in the workshops and to bring them back up to speed in their coaching conversations.
There’s also a range of templates and tools available.
Question Cards
Participant materials include a set of Thought Provoking Questions Cards, which I created specifically for the Conversations That Matter workshops. Perfect to use on the job.
